Worth the price
I've read a lot of the reviews on this product before purchasing, and I was skeptical after reading them, but you can't beat the price, so I bought it. Me and my roommate set it up in like 2-3 hours, and it wasn't hard, just lots of pieces to put together. A lot of the reviewers said their stand was damaged or when put together it wasn't study, but I didn't run into any of those issues at all, honestly it was very sturdy.
I would be more likely to give this 4.5 stars because it did take a while to setup, but it was kind of fun. The end result is a nice and study shelf, at least for me.Gio
Amazing product for the price
Please do not pay attention to the other reviews saying it's difficult to assemble. I purchased this item impulsively while at the store because I could not believe the price. After buying, I went online to read reviews and saw all the negative complaints about assembly. Because of that, I put off assembling it for about two weeks. However, I finally decided to assemble it last night and I can not stress how absolutely false those claims are about how hard it is to assemble. I assembled it by myself in 90 minutes - I'm a 22 yr old female. My advice would be to lay out all pieces and hardware in alphabetical/numerical order before you start, and TAKE YOUR TIME. There was one step where I screwed something in backwards because the directions were very brief - read the words and LOOK AT THE PICTURES before putting things together. This TV stand says it's for up to 50 TVs, but it holds my 55" TV just fine (even though it might look a little silly). One thing I would say is that the TV stand is low to the ground so if you're looking for a larger piece of furniture, this one might not be the best choice. It fits great where I wanted it to go and it's the perfect size for my small apartment. I would definitely purchase this product again for the price.Alex
Worth the money (and effort)
Great entertainment stand for the money. However, I had to contact Walmart and Main Stays to get assembly directions emailed to me because there were none in the box. There were also a few boards and screws not labelled but it was pretty easy to figure out what they were. Assembly took me 4 hours using a regular screwdriver and the space of a small bedroom. But overall Iâm very satisfied with the product (and proud I didnât make any mistakes), assembly just takes a little patience.Kaioken
